Our house is situated only a few minutes by boat from the restaurant Cornelius på Holmen, known for its excellent seafood and inspiration to the film The Menu. When visiting you can be picked up by boat from our own quai and be transported to the restaurant /takes about 5 minutes), and back again afterwards.

Mariann og hennes bror som er eier i Scalmarin, var for øvrig med på Gordon Ramseys Uncharted når han var i Norge (og som kan sees på National Geographic). Deler av programmet er filmet på Vestre Steinsundholmen som Mariann er medeier i og som ligger bare to minutter med båt fra Villa Solhaug, mellom villa Solhaug og Cornelius.
If you want an experience out of the ordinary in the local archipelago around Bjorøy and Bergen, you can try Bergen Fjord Adventures. You will be picked up by RIB and transported around the shoreline outside Bergen where you will try to find shells, snails and crabs to cook. Afterwards you will prepare a meal from what you have gathered, together with delicacies that Bergen Fjord Adventures has brought for you.

Mariann and her brother, who is an owner of Scalmarin (delivers seafood to many of the best rastaurants in Scandinavia), was a part of Gordon Ramseys Uncharted when they were in Norway (which is shown on National Geographic). Part of the program is filmed at Vestre Steinsundholmen, owned by Mariann and her brothers, which is only two minutes from Villa Solhaug by boat, midway between Villa Solhaug and Cornelius.
